In a guest article on page 2 of the current issue of Immobilien Zeitung (14-2023 \/ April 6, 2023), Ronny Kazyska (M.Sc.) assesses the current challenging market situation for real estate agencies. Due to the dynamic interest rate turnaround by the European Central Bank (ECB), activity in the German real estate market has declined sharply. Market participants are awaiting a signal from the ECB that the interest rate hike cycle is complete. The consequences of this low transaction activity are significantly lower commission revenues for real estate agents.   <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p id=\"viewer-au0nh\">Ronny Kazyska therefore recommends that real estate agents establish a second business area that generates more stable revenues, independent of activity in the transaction market. He himself previously completed a master&#8217;s degree in real estate valuation at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences while working, following a bachelor&#8217;s degree in real estate management. Subsequently, he successfully obtained two personal certifications as a real estate appraiser according to the internationally recognized standard DIN EN ISO\/IEC 17024 from HypZert and the state-run Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (izert).
